From January 15, 2026, the PPS (Parcours de Prévention Santé)—which replaces the medical certificate—will change in France. It is essential to be compliant in order to register for the two Trail du Grand Ballon events, held in next April and July!
👉 PPS in a nutshell:
- is mandatory
- becomes fee-based (≈ €5 / year)
- is now valid for 1 year (instead of 3 months)
🔎 What does this mean for the Trail du Grand Ballon – April & July 2026?
✔️ A valid PPS will be required at registration
✔️ One PPS can cover multiple races throughout 2026
✔️ The PPS continues to replace the medical certificate
📅 Our advice:
If you plan to take part in one of our races (or both 😉), make sure to complete your PPS in advance to simplify your registration!
